Quick Project-Recipe Folder...

I fell in love with the idea of making a recipe folder after spotting this easy tutorial at "A spoonfull of sugar which is located on my blog side bar".It was super quick and easy to make up and I had it finished by the end of Sunday after working on it for only a few hours.Pop over to Lisa's blog and check it out.
I already have an order from my sister Anne for one to be made up for her birthday presssie this year so I'll be off buying another folder and scrapbooking paper this weekend to make one up for her.
Lisa thank you so much for such a fun and yet practicle idea to get all those recipes I'd ripped out of magazines finally in order :)

I just love it!

This is the stitchery I made into a cushion from a blog called and the wonderful blogger is called Jenny who made up this beautiful stitchery and then very kindly made it accessable to anyone who wanted to use it(for personal use only).
I fell in love with this stitchery and just had to make it up into a cushion.I know Jenny already has another design in the pipeworks so if you'd like to make up this wonderful design or the next one she's currently working on then pop over to her blog and check it out.

Easter baking...Apple Yoghurt Cake

I love baking especially cakes and when I stumbled onto this recipe on another blog I just knew I had to make it.I think it turned out very scrummy lookiny and as soon as it cools enough I'm going to be taste testing it and then after hubby and I have eaten a few slices I'll be taking the rest around to my sister Anne and her family to finish off.Way too much cake for two people to eat....I'm sure my sister and her family will enjoy the suprise.

I know,I know.... another journal.I think I'm addicted!

This is another journal I've been working on over the last few days.I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try a diferent way of making the cover and I also included a pocket where you can put your pens as well.I love the way the Bronwyn Hayes stitchery looks on the front with the stripes as its background.
I'm thinking I might make up another of these journals and have a Christmas in July giveaway with it and a few other handmade peices, maybe a cornucopia or one of those fabric baskets mmmmm .....What do you think? Would you be interested in my doing this.
Leave me a comment and I'll see what the response is and if it's a resounding YES then I'll start getting a few things done up for it.

My Birthday gift....

This is the lovely table runner I received from the birthday club on the craft forum I belong to.I've already used it this Friday just gone when I had a few friends over.It was admired very much and commented on as well.
Thank you girls I love it.

My Win....

A few weeks ago I entered a giveaway on Janelle Winds blog for a messanger tote/bag pattern and to my suprise and delight I won one of the three patterns she was offering as prizes.I've included a photo of my pattern as it was posted to me wrapped up in lovely pink tissue paper with pink ric rac and a beautiful gift tag,it looked so special.
I've been to Spotlight and chosen my fabrics and hopefully now I have a bit of time from work over the easter break I may get a chance to make it up.....
