FNSI.....early

I've been working on my Rosalie Quinlan stitchery today in-between working on an assignment due next week for uni......I've added a bit more since the last photo and will keep working between both during the night to keep me sane :)
I also wanted to thank Sarah from  http://sarahsprimtreasures.blogspot.com/ for her lovely giveaway in which I won this Rosalie Quinaln pattern.....you can NEVER have enough Rosalie Quinlan patterns in my sewing room! So a big THANK YOU SARAH!! I can't wait to be able to start on this one as well as quite a few other projects after November :)

If I don't answer comments left over the next week or so it's not because I don't appreciate the time and effort you go to leave them for me but because I'm also working on my last two assignments for uni which are due in three weeks so I'll apologise in advance as I'll be head down and bottom up for a little while working on finishing them off before the deadline :)

A close up of some of the blocks,I love the colours in the fabric range. Now I just have to wait for our bloggers meet up in November to find some fabric for the borders and then I can totally finish it of and send it to the quilters :)

Now I just need more time to finish a few more things before the year ends!

I need more time!!!

 Finally finished my spring blanket......
This photo show the truest colours, crisp yellow, bright orange and a twist of lime......
It's only a small baby blanket big enough to put over a pram or cot.Boy I'm loving how these colours work together!
I also finally finished this black scarf I've been knitting up for me,will use it next winter it's sooo soft and slinky feeling.
Just to tease you a bit this is what we had for tea tonight Chicken and brocoli bake MMmmmm.
I'll be back later in the week witth another finish I can't show you just yet as the person I'm making it for visits my blog.

Finding time.....

Finally added the third row to my new spring crocheted blanke.....can you see the pattern yet? Follow just one colour from left to right as you go up the rows and you'll see the pattern starting to emerge :)
Here's a long shot of the blanket, this is only going to be a relatively small blanket compared to my other ones so is working up quite quickly. The finished size will be six by six squares then a decorative trim to finish it off.
I also had this lone block floating around from my "Tis the season" book and decided to make it into a mug rug......should look good with a festive cup with a chocolate mix made up in it as a gift this year, ready for the recipient to make themselves a cuppa? I have a few more of these blocks nearly at the finished stage and I can see a few more of these being made up very soon!

Not enough time in the day.....

These christmas wrapped bundles arrived early this week but I haven't been able to take a photo to put on here till now......I promise, cross my heart these parcels have landed in my santa sack unmollested Cheryl LOL.......... Only 3 more months and I'll be able to open them!
Remember those green, orange and yellow squares I showed you recently well they've been transformed into this, four more rows to go and then to decide on how to edge it :) If you look closely you'll be able to see a pattern emerging with the colour placement of the squares???
