Table runner....

Finally another project finished.I bought the pattern for this table runner at the March craft show and started working on it around the end of April when I finished my bag that I designed(the 2nd picture) and found I still had lots of fabric leftover from it.
I love how bright and happy it looks and I'm sure every time I look at it over winter I'll smile and think of summer being just around the corner....

Homespun BOM block 5.....

Boy am I glad this block is finally finished. It has taken me forever to fnally get to the stage of putting the borders on and now I can get started on blocks 6,7,8 & 9.
I'm not looking forward to starting on block 9 as it's another big one so I think I'll do all the small ones first and then tackle the huge one last.Hope you like block 5 cos if you don't I really don't want to know.I think I'll just curl up in a corner and cry .....

Snickerdoodles Bag Swap....

This is the second beautiful bag I received in my bag swaps. It came all the way from New Zealand and by the sounds of it poor Heather had as much trepidation as I did as this was her first ever swap.Well let me put your fears to rest Heather I absolutely love the bag you sent me and all the little extras as well! It was made up with all sorts of pinks my new best colour....You have nothing to worry about with your stitching I think you did a wonderful job with it and it just makes the bag shine.I want to thank you for making this swap such an enjoyable one and for being my swap partner in this your first swap, what an honour!

I was a bit nervous about making my one (3rd picture with the blue bird) as the partner I was making it for was none other than Darlene one of the founders of the Snickerdoodles site! But after the initial fright I got to gathering my patterns and searching for the perfect one for her.Alas I couldn't find one to totally fit what I had in mind so I butchered about three patterns to make up a bag from them all.I think it turned out real well and by her comments she's left I think she's pretty happy with it.I also wanted to thank Ashlei,Darlene's daughter for helping with the partner selections.

Craft Forum Bag Swap....

Have I mentioned lately that I love bags? Well I do I'm a practicing bag-a-holic! and to prove it I entered not one but two bag swaps on two diferent sites I'm a member off.
This first bag is the bag Dawn made me.Isn't it absolutely gorgeous....I love how she has used the braid and lace to enhance the stitchery panel on the bag and her stitching is to die for,so neat and tiny.I feel really blessed to have met so many wonderful people through these kind of swaps.Thank you Dawn for being my swap partner.
I did have fun making your bag ( the 2nd picture with the heart pocket) except for that tiny little incident involving my dog Belle and NO she didn't eat the first bag.... she peed on it! so I hope you like how the second attempt at making your bag turned out.
