2 more finishes for 2011....

I've been watching all the mug rugs appearing around blogland and decided to try my hand at making one or two of them.I'm quite pleased with how they turned out .I wasn't too sure of the actual sizing of the rugs so I just winged it.

I think you've winged it beautifully, I don't think there's an official size either!

They are great and your embroidery is just perfect for them... I have yet to make some myself and I too are confused on the size xxx

Looking lovely for your afternoon tea fare.

The size is comparable to an afternoon tea tray, we all know they come in many sizes. Yours look perfect.

Good job, and good on you for having a go and winging it. You have inspired me to try making some myself. Kind regards, Anita.

Barb, those are gorgeous mug rugs. The size is what you like. I've started making mine a bit bigger, so I can put one under a big bowl of soup without burning my hands.
