Finally finished my “TIs the season” quilt, I’d joined in Chooky’s stitch-a-long way back in 2011 and it’s taken me three years to finally get it quilted and bound…..I must admit that my very lovely sister Anne put the binding on for me or it would have been another three years before it reached the finished pile LOL…..I sooooo don’t like to hand stitch the binding down I’d much rather start a new project is anyone else like me or is it just me????

Oh Barb you and I must be related - binding yuk!! I often trade skills with friends to get them to bind, I'm happy to piece, applique, bake, clean......or if I have to pay lol.

Congratulations on getting it finished! I always bind my quilts by machine. It's so much quicker, and then I can move on to the next thing I want to make! :0)

I made this quilt and I consider it a very firm favourite .So much so I have not put it away yet with the Christmas stuff

Your quilt is lovely. Yes, sometimes the binding can be a real battle but I like having a finish so I get it done.
A lot of stitching went into making the blocks for your quilt. A very good finish.
