First finish for 2014 & swap gifts.....

I finally put the last stitch into this baby blanket and spent a few hours of the 1st day of 2014 sewing in the ends, so Sarah if you're reading this I'll try and remember to bring it in on Monday for you :)
Here's a close up of the pattern, just a basic ripple with alternating colours to bring in a co-ordinating pattern through the colours that I used.
Here it is all wrapped up with a big blue bow ready and waiting to be handed over to the mum-to-be on Monday :)
Now to start working more on Sharon's secret blanket and also a blanket I've started for my hubby for his birthday this year, will post a pic of hubby's blanket when I've worked a few more rows but you'll have to wait till the end of the year to be able to see Sharon's as there'll be no sneak peaks or glimpses on my blog to whet the appetite as Sharon wants it to be a complete surprise :)
This is the table runner I made for Pam in "Maree's" 6 item swap as her gift for under the tree.
This one was made for our work KK gift.
Final one and no you're not seeing double, well not totally double as I added prairie points around the whole of this runner and made it longer and wider for Carol my swap partner in the Santa Sack Swap as she requested :)
I still have a few more photo's of gifts sent and received to post about on my blog but time seems to be getting away from me so I'll try and do another post in the next day or so.

I loved the table runner and all my other goodies.

The boys were told not to eat or drink near it.

Both said it was Russell the sheep with Santa.

Lovely work with.the baby blanket. You do beautiful work with your crocheting.
I have spent the last year learning to crochet, so can only look at your work with admiration. At this stage i am sticking to small and easy projects.
I will watch your crocheting projects to be inspired.

I would love to make a ripple blanket. I'm still a novice crocheter thought and haven't figured out all of the directions to patterns. I love the cheerful colors you've used.
