My Santa Sack is overflowing.....

Thought I'd better post a picture of my Santa Sack filled to the brim with pressies from my swap partner Cheryl.....now comes the waiting game of when we're allowed to open them :)

Finally Finished!

Well here it is framed,after searching everywhere for my two.....yes two staple guns and not finding either one I cleaned the top of one of my tables in my sewing room and finally found them hidden in plain sight lol.....I love how this framed stitchery has turned out now to try and find the Christmas wreath one and make a start on it for next Christmas :)

FNWF.....what I got up to

 I finished this wall hanging last night,may just need to make another one I think :)

I also finished of this Rosalie Quinlan stitchery and was going to frame it but the frame is too big even though it's the size the pattern reccomends so I'll be trimming this down and adding a border then hopefully it will fit on the frame better,I can't wait to see this one up on the wall!

 I want to say a big thank you to Cheryl for my little extras parcel that arrived for me this week....it's now waiting patiently under the tree for me to open :)

 I also wanted to show you this lovely minature gingerbread house one of the parents gave me this week, she did these with her children and all the workers at my centre were given one.....love the thought and effort that went into this gift and the fact that the children were involved in the process :)

 I found this completed stitchery in amongst the patterns I've been sorting through in my sewing room,don't know how long it's been there but thought I'd try and finish it tonight as a 12" mini wall hanging :)

More Christmas spirit and finishes....

 This is a litte chest of drawers I have off my kitchen  and just inside my loungeroom....all decorated with a few Christmas pieces :)

 I've alos been working on finishing of a few more mug rugs.....

I also got another parcel in the mail yesterday so will post a pic soon of what I received from Cheryl :) OOOoooHhHhhhh I just LoVe Christams!!

More Christmas decorating.....

 I'm slowly but surely getting the house ready and decorated for Christmas this year.......LOve,LoVe,LovE Christmas!!

I also managed to finish this off.....I soooo love how it looks done in redwork,Mmmm may still make one up in applique for myself :)

Putting up the Christmas tree....

 I finally put up the Christmas tree yesterday and placed my three Chrissy presents from Cheryl underneath it and today I got to open them!

 They went from these three red packages to......

 These three gorgeous gifts! A beautiful tea bag wallet with single serve Robert Timms coffee sachets......I love my coffee first thing in the morning and I have to admit one is already missing since this photo was taken lol. Cheryl also made me this very pretty tea towel and hand appliqued the word JOY on it and used my two most favourite colour scheme of red and white,love,love,love it!!! and then to top it of she sent me this gorgeous birdie tin which is full of gorgeous Christmas swing tags soooo me to a T!  (I also love decorative tine just like you Cheryl)
Thanks Cheryl I had sooo much fun opening each and every one of my gifts this morning :)

Psssst.....this is now heading your way Cheryl......Your final pressie in our swap,I hope you like what I made you when you get to open it Christmas morning :)

Christmas is getting closer!

 I can hardly wait for tomorrow as I'll be able to open three of these gorgeous parcels that arrived at my door!! the gold parcel I'll have to wait just a bit longer before I can open it.....Thanks Cheryl.
I've enjoyed sending and receiving our parcles over the last few months it's a bit sad that it has to end :( ......But maybe next year we'll be able to do a one on one swap like we talked about????

I've also been working on this Anni Downs pattern which I made in applique for our Mill Rosie bloggy meet lucky dip swap....... I've nearly finished but it wont be in time for this months OPAM list of finishes :)

Another finish....

Finally managed to put this one together using scraps from some Butterscotch and Rose fabric I had leftover from another project.....I love using up my scraps :)

Another teaser and a finish....

 This box is heading of to Maria in the Canary Islands,it contains my Christmas ornament swap item,I hope she likes the little extra I put in for her :)

And finally another finish for November.....a mug rug to go into the gift box.I still have a few more of these stitcheries traced  and ready to finish up which will be on my to-do list this week!
Also I've finally sent of (emailed) my last two assignments for uni amd I've officially finished classes for the year and I passed my final placement so that's that!! Finito,done and dusted....two years of study over with and my stitching life back in my cross hairs!!!! Bring on 2013 I say!
