A belated thankyou & a finish.....

With all the things that have been happening with both my parents I forgot to say thank you to Joanne www.pbpatch.com.au/ for the hexie cards I won in her giveaway a little while back.....as you can see I now have the glue pens so there's no exscuse for me not to attempt my first hexie and start my hexie addiction......Thanks again Joanne!
Click on the link www.pbpatch.com.au/ and check out her website as she's now selling pre-cut fabric hexies in some of the newest fabric ranges which means that your hexie addiction will grow that much faster LOL.

This is my worry blanket...This is what I've been working on for the last three weeks while travelling between hospitals and emergency waiting rooms etc....with both my parents.Everytime I use this blanket I'll remember this time and be grateful for family and the times we have with them....even the stressful times :)

Wonderful that you could keep busy doing something during such a stressful time and create something so beautiful!

The blanket is just beautiful. Over the years I have also spent many hours in doctors offices or hospitals, usually for my hubby. It is always good to have something to work on to help pass the time. Your project turned out so beautiful.

What a wonderful blanket and good use of time and worry. I do hope things turn out well and everyone returns to health. Take care of yourself, you are no good to others if you run yourself down.

Beautiful blanket Barb. I guess you were so glad to have something to do to help pass the time. Hope your DM and DD are both doing well now.
I haven't tried out my glue pen on the hexies yet.......
