FNSI Results….

DSCF8658

Last night saw me finishing of this baby blanket, I worked on the edging with a picot stitch, very dainty and elegant…….

DSCF8657

here’s a close up of the edging….. the mum-to-be requested the blanket be done in yellow and white and I thought with such  a delicate colour way it needed the yellow to be able to pop which I think I’ve achieved with this pattern I think the yellow would have gotten lost if I’d made it into a ripple like the previous baby blanket Smile

DSCF8661

Now it’s all nicely wrapped up with a pretty daffodil yellow satin ribbon ready and waiting to be given to the mum-to-be at her baby shower in April Smileif you’d like to see what everyone else got up to last night pop over to Wendy's but make sure to grab yourself a cuppa before you do as I’m sure you’ll be sitting for a while admiring everyone’s creativeness. Thanks  Wendy for hosting such a fun night!!

The blanket is beautiful. All it needs is a rubber Duckie to go with it.

That blanket is stunning !! And Barb ,thank you so much for your long thoughtful comment on my blog and for worrying about me; do feel free to e-mail anytime. I have a tendency to hide away when things aren't right .. Tell me something, how long have you been knitting ? I'm just wondering if one day, I'll be able to produce beautiful things like that, with me starting crafting so old and all..... ! xxx
