Today I finely managed to get to the post office to collect my parcel which turned out to be from my partner Karen in our Friend’s Having Fun Swap and let me say I was spoilt rotten! This lovely Bonnie and Camille Dresden cushion greeted me first and it’s now residing on my bed and let me just say it looks lovely sitting there.
But the cushion wasn’t all that Karen sent me she also included this gorgeous red and white Dresden wall hanging as she knew I loved red and white together. I’ve been blown away by Karen’s thoughtfulness in choosing what to make for me for this swap……but wait there’s more!
Karen also made me this very pretty pincushion in pretty girly colours, sooooo me! You just have to enlarge the picture to see how neat and tiny her stitching is!
But wait……Karen also sent me all these lovelies as extras, three very cute tins filled with Christmas ribbons and Hand dyed floss with the most delicious sounding name of “Wild Berries” as well as two cute heart hangers and of course some yummy lollies to munch on which I’ll be doing while I sit and sew for FNWF tonight.
Thank you sooooo much Karen for all my lovely gifts, I loved everything you sent me.
Also while out shopping and collecting my mail I couldn’t resist buying these two craft magazines, I haven’t bought many mags lately but these two just had to come home with me I think just by looking at the covers you can guess why???
Tonight is Friday Night With Friends, I have my lolly stash ( from karen ) and a couple of latte sachets lined up to keep me fuelled tonight and another Dresden plate in red and white waiting for me to stitch down so I’d better head off and cook tea so I can spend the rest of the evening sewing I hope to see a few of you there tonight as well
