FnwF resized

Friday night saw me heading of to work for the Children’s Christmas party so I started my night of early by working on my niece’s blanket during the day. Three final blocks were sewn together and are now waiting to be added to the rest of the blanket then decision time on how I’ll be edging it Smile Below is a picture of the blanket ( two rows ) with the final three blocks waiting to be sewn on later this weekend to form the third row.

Details of the block:

Name: Willow block

Source: 200 crochet blocks for blankets, throws and afghans

Designer: Jan Eaton

Blocks completed: 225

Yarn used: Bendigo Woollen mills 4ply Luxury

Colours used: Baby blue, Delphinium, Lavender, African violet, Iris mist and edged with Ghost

I’m hoping to get a chance to pop over to Cheryll's blog and check out what everyone else got up to last night, it’s always much nicer when you know someone else is stitching beside you  Smile

Gorgeous. Those are some of my favourite colours. Though I'm beginning to think all the luxury colours are my favourite.
Looking forward to seeing the finished blanket.
