I’ve been spoilt!!!

I closed my eyes this morning and rummaged under the Christmas tree to select my first parcel to open from Sharon  who is my FHF Swaps partner and I wasn’t disappointed!!! Look at the gorgeous project pouch I unwrapped.

I’m very impressed Sharon as you’ve managed to combine the two things I don’t like working with plastic sheeting and the dreaded zips! Now I have my own personal project pouch and to top it off Sharon has made this beauty with my favourite fabric designers Bonnie and Camille ooohhhh I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

Today has also found me finishing up my November and December Charming Stars blocks that I’ve been sewing along with Terry I didn’t get a chance to even look at making any blocks for November as I had quite a few swap commitments I wanted to concentrate on but now they’ve been done and posted off I thought I’d better get a move on and finish a few more blocks before the New year arrived.

Rows one and two finally sewn together, now to start on making up the blocks for rows three and four I’m hoping to at least get this top to the flimsy stage before 2015 but we’ll have to wait and see what I can accomplish while on my holidays over my Christmas break….

Finally finished my niece’s 21st birthday blanket, all wrapped up and ready to give to her in January next year

here it is in all it’s glory, I’m quite pleased with how this one turned out and can’t wait to give it to her

and here is a close up of the squares…..another one of my to-do list now to get started on finishing of  my hubby’s ripple blanket for his birthday in June

Woooo Hoooo Look what arrived for me!!

My lovely swap partner Sharon's  parcel landed on my doorstep today!!! Woooo Hoooo only three more sleeps and I can start opening one a day…….. well all except for the white wrapped one I’ve been told under strict instructions from Sharon that this one is to be opened on Christmas day Thanks Sharon, I know it was a huge effort to get this box of goodies off to me and I really appreciate it and hope you’re feeling much better

Friday Night With friends Results….

Friday night saw me heading of to work for the Children’s Christmas party so I started my night of early by working on my niece’s blanket during the day. Three final blocks were sewn together and are now waiting to be added to the rest of the blanket then decision time on how I’ll be edging it Below is a picture of the blanket ( two rows ) with the final three blocks waiting to be sewn on later this weekend to form the third row.

Santa’s on his way too…… I Can’t tell you it’s a secret!

 

These parcels are for my  secret swap partner for our FHF Swap which I finally managed to post of today

I’ve added a couple of extra parcels to make up for my tardiness in delivering these to Santa’s sleigh so I hope my swap partner will forgive me

Santa Sack swap, Parcels received,parcels sent, lots happening here….

these gorgeous parcels arrived in my letter box yesterday from my Santa Sack swap partner Dasha and one of them had a sticky note attached to it telling me to open it, well I’m not going to argue with being told to open a gift!!

This beautiful Santa sack was inside this parcel, Dasha's done a lovely job with the applique and it’s already stuffed full with the rest of the gifts waiting for our swap mumma to tell us when we can open them

These are the gifts I sent of to Dasha which she’s let me know have arrived safe and sound at her place after a little detour to her neighbours house .

I also posted of a couple of parcels whilst at the post office picking up my parcel from Dasha, this one went of to…….….well you really didn’t expect me to tell you did you

I also sent of this parcel but you’ll also have to waitl to find out what’s inside these packages….come on Christmas don’t be late!!!

Friday Night Sew In Results…..

Friday night saw me sewing two more blocks together for my niece’s 21st gift, nearly at the halfway mark now…..

This close up of the blocks shows the colours as they appear in real life. I’m really hoping my niece likes this blanket when it’s finished or it just may have to come back home with me as I’ve fallen in love with this colour combination and I don’t even like purple LOL 

Santa Sack Swap…..

These parcels are now officially flying in Santa’s sleigh to my partner Dasha’s house but she wont be able to open them till our swap momma  Cheryll tells us we can…..oh the suspense!!

Now onto finishing of my FHF swap parcels so i can post these off next week

Travelling Treasures Winner!
