Mill Rosie photo’s and FNSI Results……

DSCF7332

This was just a few of the lovely items made by the clever girls of the Mill Rosie group……

A few more items from our red swap this month, I had to take two photo’s as I couldn’t get all this loveliness into one shot! Aren’t we a clever and talented bunch of ladies!!

I was also VERY spoilt by Sharon of  http://lilabellelane.blogspot.com.au/ in our one on one swap with this gorgeous weekender bag designed by Amy Butler made using a honeycomb pack of  the new Midwinter red range of fabrics that I just love!

I cannot thank Sharon enough for this beautiful bag  and it will be travelling with me in April as I travel around Tassie for my birthday trip with my sister Anne, it will be put to good use by being filled to the brim with craft projects I can work on while over there and I have a funny feeling Sharon’s blanket will be one of them, crochet is such a portable craft!

Now Sharon understands that she needs to be a  bit patient with me as I’m still working on her crocheted blanket for this swap and I suspect it’s going to take a few more months to get to the finish stage with it but I’m loving how her blanket is turning out I may just have a little bit of difficulty actually giving it up when it’s done  I can just picture me and Sharon having a playful tug of war over it when I present her with it lol….

I’ll post a few more Mill Rosie photo’s  over the next couple of days as I took quite a lot on the day!

Now onto FNSI results and this is what I managed to do while watching a bit of TV, I managed to sew two rows together now to get onto making the other squares so I can finish this and present it to the mum to be before my next hair appointment in March yikes!

FNWF Results…..

DSCF7123

I managed to work two more rows of colour on my Hubby’s ripple blanket and now I’ve completed three rows of each of the eleven main colours I’m now back to the first colour, now it’s just a matter of repeating these eleven colours till the blanket is done.

DSCF7124

I also did a bit more stitching on this Rosalie Quinlan Christmas stitchery, just a bit more and it will be finished, I really enjoy working with Cosmo threads and also using just one colour for a project.

I must start doing a bit of blog hopping tonight and see what everyone else got up to with their Friday night crafting…….

Another finish…….finally!

DSCF7067

Finally finished my “TIs the season” quilt, I’d joined in Chooky’s stitch-a-long way back in 2011 and it’s taken me three years to finally get it quilted and bound…..I must admit that my very lovely sister Anne put the binding on for me or it would have been another three years before it reached the finished pile LOL…..I sooooo don’t like to hand stitch the binding down I’d much rather start a new project is anyone else like me or is it just me????

When I finished working on the house quilt I had enough pieces left over to make a smaller wall hanging version as well as……

Finishing a mini wall hanging with the leftovers so that’s another finish for the Christmas box and 2 more quilts ready to head off to the quilters this year.

Hopefully blogger will get it’s act together but until then I’ll use windows live writer and hope I can learn how to use it without too much trouble, it’s sooooo good to be able to get back into blogging I’ve felt like I’ve lost the use of my arms not being able to blog about what I’ve been up to hopefully it wont be as long before I post another blog post…..

WoooooooHoooooo I’m back!!!!!

Still can't post photo's & what I got up to Friday night :)

I still can't post photo's onto my blog but I did do some crafting, I worked on my hubby's crocheted blanket as well as working a bit on Sharon's blanket both are coming along nicely. I tried to see if I'd used up my storage for photo's on my blog but from researching I haven't so I don't know what's going on with blogger but I hope they fix whatever it is soon I hate posting blog posts without at least one photo :(
